Abstract :
Polycrystalline garnet of the system Y3-2x-y-zGdzCa2x+yFe5-x-yVxZryO12was investigated. Relatively temperature-stable magnetization near room temperature and narrow ferrimagnetic resonance linewidth ( \\Delta H 10 Oe) were obtained for the composition range of 0.4 \\leq x \\leq 0.6, 0.3 \\leq y \\leq 0.6 and 0.3 \\leq z \\leq 1.6 respectively. The lowest value of linewidth at z=1.0 was 5.2 Oe at the composition of x=0.4 and y=0.6, which suggests the remarkable reduction of anisotropy.
