Abstract :
An adjustable magnetostatic surface wave (m.s.s.w.) directional multistrip coupler realised on an epitaxial yttrium iron garnet (y.i.g.) film is described. A 100% power transfer from one track to the other has been obtained at 2.5 GHz. The directional coupling has frequency filtering characteristics due to the dispersion of m.s.s.w. and the coupling is adjustable by an applied magnetic field.
