Abstract :
A series of copper stabilized multifilamentary Nb3Sn conductors in various configurations are described. The properties of those recently developed from a 13.5 wt % Sn bronze matrix are compared with earlier configurations made from 10wt % Sn bronze matrices. Some problems encountered in short sample testing of these materials and the performance of magnets made from them are mentioned.
