Abstract :
Recent results obtained by Freeman on the stability of linear multivariable feedback systems using the concept of contraction mapping are extended to include open-loop unstable plants. A consequence of the results is a new form of Rosenbrock´s stability criterion for open-loop unstable minimum-phase systems.
