  • Abstract
    The concept of basic 2-terminal network elements, which include resistors, inductors, capacitors and memristors as special cases, is introduced. It is shown that every basic 2-terminal network element can be realised by linear capacitors, linear inductors, linear algebraic controlled sources and one nonlinear resistor.
