  • Abstract
    With the aim of improving the performance of Mobile IPv4, there have been developed different proposals based on the concep of micromobility. This paper introduces a movel micromobility system based on multicast transmission. We propose different handover schemas for this system and, for each of them, we have develop a simple analytical model which allows to evaluate the performance in terms of packet-loss.
