Abstract :
A PAL color pattern generator in which a single-chip microprocessor is used to generate ten different patterns is described. The generator can provide a 1-Vp-p video output and a 100-mV channel three RF output. Compared with the conventional pattern generators, this microprocessor-based design method has the merits of simplicity, low cost, flexibility, and no need for calibration
