Abstract
The broad-band 0° hybrid junction constructed with a twisted-wire transmission-line transformer is analyzed by using a distributed parameter approach, with the help of the transmission-line theory. Such an analysis provides some useful information concerning the behavior of the device at higher frequencies when the line length becomes comparable to a wavelength.
