Abstract :
A new principle of signal amplification is experimentally demonstrated which is based on the effect of modulation of conductivity of a semiconductor due to bunching of electrons by the acoustic wave. For the layered structure LiNbO3-CdSe good agreement between theory and experiment is obtained.
