  • Abstract
    Optical directional couplers are driven by surfaceacoustic waves. Two effects can be distinguished: single and double frequency modulation. Experiments have been performed between 180 MHz and 430 MHz SAW frequency at light wavelength 0.633 ¿m with modulation depth up to 100%.
