Abstract :
A new adaptive equaliser using the discrete multi-wavelet transform and LMS adaptation is proposed. The new equaliser improves the convergence rate of the conventional time-domain equaliser and has a faster convergence rate than that of the existing transform-domain equalisers, while the increase in computation is very small.
