Abstract
Coplanar MMIC stub configurations are investigated by means of the finite-difference method in the frequency domain. The open end, the short end, and a capacitively loaded short end (MIM-short) are analyzed. Their parasitic effects are described in terms of the effective length extension lext. The influence of the different line parameters is discussed and simple design rules are given
