Abstract
A model of ferrofluids is treated analytically and numerically in order to discuss the phase diagrams. Magnetic particles are supposed to sit on a lattice and to interact through a magnetic Kac potential and through a short range potential between nearest neighbours. The equation of state and the phase diagrams of such one and two dimensional ferrofluids are presented and discussed.
