  • Abstract
    The fusion splicing of a 14-fibre, 31.6 km-cabled, monomode optical fibre system, with a mean splice loss of 0.18 dB at ¿ = 1.3 ¿m and 0.12 dB at ¿ = 1.55 ¿m, is reported.
