Abstract :
In this paper, electromagnetic waves in circular waveguides, containing azimuthally magnetized ferrite are investigated. It is found out that in these waveguides, right hand and left hand circularly polarized waves have the same propagation constants. Consequently, these waveguides can be used as polarization insensitive phase shifters instead of rotators.
