Abstract :
There have probably been more words spoken and written on the general subject of "management" by more self-appointed experts than almost any other. Yet even-one might almost say especially-in the manufacturing engineering industries, company performance is dependent on its managers at every level. The Management Charter Initiative is an independent, employer-led organisation dedicated to setting benchmark standards in management, helping to develop this vital human resource.
