Abstract :
An analytical expression for the potential distribution inside certain cavities is obtained. This expression is based on the equipotential surface considerations as produced by two confining surfaces at a time. The results obtained for several geometries agree to better than 93 percent with the results obtained numerically using the finite difference formulation.
