Abstract :
The design, production and testing of the main dipole and quadrupole magnets for a 2 GeV electron storage ring are described, with particular emphasis on the integrated field performance including the optimisation of magnet ends. In addition fast pulsed kicker and septum magnets for control of injection and extraction processes in both the storage ring and its booster synchrotron injector are treated. All magnets are now installed and operating routinely in the new Synchrotron Radiation Source at Daresbury.
