Abstract :
A computer simulation of the formation of a statically stable 2π Bloch line in a domain wall in an ion implanted bubble garnet film is performed by solving the equations of motion numerically. Depending on the initial conditions (chirality, drive pulse polarization, etc.) either two or only one punch-through is necessary to create the 2π Bloch line.
