  • Abstract
    A polariser on a Ti:LiNbO3 channel waveguide has been realised using a double fabrication process (Ti indiffusion and proton exchange). A region is created where the extraordinary polarisation experiences a leaky propagation leading to an extinction ratio of 30 dB and excess loss of about 1 dB.
