Delta-sigma modulators using unity-gain buffers

The authors propose the use of unity-gain buffers in delta-sigma modulators, taking advantage of the fact that delta-sigma modulators are tolerant of component inaccuracies but require high-speed operation. Following a discussion of SC integrators using on a pump and using a unity-gain buffer, the realisation of a second-order delta-sigma modulator using a unity-gain buffers is presented.
