  • Abstract
    The diminishing dominance of the United States in the design of high-definition television systems is discussed. The author states that digital high-definition television will become the world standard, and it will happen first in the United States. The ideal digital television system will fit into 6 MHz of spectrum and provide the quality of theatrical 35-mm film in every home
