  • Abstract
    Error-free retiming operation of a monolithic PD-EAM optical gate at a data rate of 100 Gbit/s has been successfully demonstrated. A timing margin of 2.2 ps was achieved with a power penalty below 1 dB at a bit error rate of 10-9.
