Abstract :
High output reproduction characteristics for film heads were studied using numerical analysis. In the high energy media reproduction, the characteristic pulse slimming effect of film heads disappears and the peak shift increases. This paper reports the relationship between pole face length and media surface flux density, influenced by a local magnetic saturation in head core material.
