Abstract :
Recent researches on materials and systems for magneto-optic disk storage are reviewed. An amorphous double-layered GdCo film is suitable to use for this purpose. An experimentaI result on recording color TV signals in real time on a GdCo disk is also presented. Fairly good motion pictures were reproduced. From this work, it can be said that magneto-optic disk storage system will be put into practice in the near future.
