Abstract :
This paper describes the possibilities of the 8 inch compatible 3.5 inch micro floppy disk (MFD) with a capacity of 802 K bytes/slde, linear recording density of 13341 bpi and track density of 135 tpi. We were able to achieve such high density recording with two types of media and confirmed the performance of the 8 inch compatible MFD.
