Abstract :
The energy bands and the states densities in ferromagnetic MnPt3alloy have been calculated by spin-polarized APW technique. The results obtained show a mixing between Mn and Pt sites that could be the cause of the magnetic polarization of the Pt sites experimentally observed. The Fermi energy results to be: Ef=-0.598 Ry.
