Abstract :
A simple technique for simultaneous parameter identification and state estimation of linear discrete systems is presented. The gradient method is used for identification and the global stability of the scheme is guaranteed by the use of Lyapunov´s method. The optimal adaptive gains are also considered for more rapid convergence.
