Abstract
A three-dimensional anisotropic magnetic field calculation is performed in the analysis of the corner joints and T joints of transformer cores. Highly grain-oriented steel is used in such transformer cores. One approximate elliptic anisotropic model is chosen. The Newton-Raphson procedure is used for the nonlinear problem. A novel Newton-Raphson technique is proposed that accelerates the convergence and avoids the oscillation
