The Gap-Making Role of Generational Experiencse in Iran

در اين مقاله بر مبناي تحليل يافته هاي موج نخست پيمايش ملي ارزش ها و نگرش هاي ايرانيان، تفاوت ارزش ها و نگرش هاي نسلي مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است. نگارندگان با تكيه بر رويكرد تجربه نسلي، دو تجربه گرم و فراگير انقلاب و جنگ را كانون اصلي همگرايي و واگرايي هايي ميان گروه هاي سني در ايران امروز دانسته اند. در اين مطالعه نسل هاي گوناگون بر مبناي نسبتي كه با تجربيات ياد شده برقرار مي كنند به پنج گروه طبقه بندي شده اند: نسل قبل از انقلاب، نسل انقلاب و جنگ، نسل جنگ، نسل داراي خاطره موثر از جنگ و سرانجام نسل فاقد خاطره موثر از جنگ. اين پژوهش باورها و گرايش هاي گروه هاي نسلي را در سه حوزه ارتباطات چهره به چهره، حوزه تعميم يافته اجتماعي و حوزه تعاملات نهادي مورد بررسي قرار داده است. يافته هاي اين پژوهش باور به تعارض ارزشي و نگرشي ميان گروه هاي نسلي را تاييد نمي كند اما نقش تجربيات نسلي در بروز تفاوت ميان نسل هاي گوناگون را نمايان مي سازد.

This article is based on the findings of the Iranian value and attitude survey con-ducted in the year 2000, this article examines generation gap in terms of values and attitudes. By employing generational experience approach, the authors have concluded that the experiences of the Islamic revolution and the Iran-Iraq war have been the central part in the divergences and convergences of age groups in Iran today. According to the findings of this study different generations can be categorized in proportion with the relations they have with the abovementioned experiences as follows L i) pre-revolution, ii) involved in revolution and war, iii) entangled with war, iv) with sound and clear memory from the war, and v) lacking sound and clear memory from the war. This study examines values and attitudes of gen¬erational groups in face-to-face, the generalized social spheres and institutional interactions. The findings do not approve value and attitude conflicts between gen¬erational groups, nevertheless it does make the role of generational experiences prominent in the differences found among different generations.
