Research Trend Analysis and Knowledge Mapping Of active research domain of Image Retrieval based on web of science Indexed Papers Circa 2001-2012

هدف : بررسي روند پژوهش، تعيين عناصر برتر و ترسيم نقشه دانش حوزه بازيابي تصوير بر اساس مقالات علمي وب آو ساينس است. روش شناسي: پژوهش حاضر از نوع پژوهش هاي علم سنجي است، و از فنون كتاب سنجي مانند تحليل هم استنادي بهره گرفته است. جامعه آماري آن تمامي مقالات نمايه شده در وب آو ساينس طي سال هاي 2001 تا 2012 ميلادي در ارتباط با بازيابي تصوير است كه تعداد 2537 مقاله بازيابي شد. از نرم افزار سايت اسپيس و وبمتريك آناليست جهت تحليل داده ها استفاده شد. يافته ها آمريكا با توليد 584 مقاله رتبه نخست و ايران با توليد 24 مقاله رتبه 22 را به خود اختصاص داده است. مجله ‹‹لكچر نوت اين كامپيوتر ساينس›› با توليد 457 مقاله و مايكروسافت با توليد 61 مقاله رتبه نخست را در ميان سازمان ها و موسسات برتر توليدكننده مقاله در حوزه بازيابي تصوير كسب نموده است. بالاترين مركزيت عدد 08 . 0 در سال 2004 در رشته سنجش از دور، بالاترين شكوفايي عدد 38. 15 در سال 2002 و بالاترين سيگما عدد 26. 1 در سال 2001 در رشته علوم تصويربرداري و تكنولوژي عكس مي باشد. نتيجه گيري حوزه بازيابي تصوير داراي روابط ميان رشته اي نسبتا گسترده اي است. به طوري كه 68 قلمرو پژوهشي در نوشتن مقالات اين حوزه نقش داشته اند. علوم كامپيوتر حوزه پيشگام و كتابداري جايگاه ششم را كسب كرده است.

Background and aim The present investigation examines the research trends and significant factors within the field of image retrieval and attempts to draw the relevant knowledge map based on the articles retrieved from Web of Science. Material and methods This scientometric study was performed using bibliometric techniques such as co-citation analysis. Samples of the current study were all articles indexed in Web of Science in the field of image retrieval from 2001 to 2012. Therefore, 2537 papers were retrieved in this field. Citespace and Webometric Analyst software were used to analyze the co-citation of authors Findings results indicate that the United States leads with 584 papers. Iran ranks 22nd with only 24 papers. The Journal "LECTURE NOTES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE" is the leading publisher of research papers with 457 article published. Microsoft is the foremost corporate author with 61 papers. Highest centrality with 0/08 in 2004were related to Remote Sensing, Highest burst with 15/38 in 2002 and Highest sigma whit1.26 in 2001 were related to Imaging Science& Photographic Technology. Conclusion Overall, image retrieval demonstrates wide interdisciplinary scope, with 68 research domains contributing to the field. The leading field by the number of papers published is computer sciences. Librarianship ranked 6th.
