نقطة آغازين در فرآيند ارتباطي دو ارتباط‌گر، يك موقعيت ويژه است كه بر كل فرآيند اثرگذار است. اين نقطه داراي مولفه‌هايي كلامي و نيز غيركلامي است. پژوهة فرارو، در تلاش براي يافتن نظرية هنجاري اسلامي در آغاز غيركلامي ارتباطات است و از روش توصيفي-تحليلي و الگوهاي اجتهادي و استنباطي در فهم آيات و روايات بهره برده و اين آموزه‌ها را با كمك نوعي الگوي قياسي-داده‌بنياد در موازنه با يافته‌هاي ارتباط‌شناختي تحليل كرده است. نتايج تحقيق در سه محور به اين شرح است: استخراج نظرية هنجاري مشتمل بر اصول و كليات و راهبردهاي هنجاري، هنجارهاي تفصيلي در نه كانال ارتباط غيركلامي، مدل ارتباطي آغاز ارتباطات با رويكرد ارتباط غيركلامي به عنوان صورتي ساده از نظريه. طبق اين مقاله، هنجارهاي غيركلامي در نقطة آغاز ارتباط در فرهنگ اسلامي با تاكيد بر يك دال معنايي مركزي يعني ايجاد صميميت و محبت اجتماعي بين مومنان شكل گرفته و در ميان گونه‌هاي ارتباطي غيركلامي نيز ارتباط لمسي داراي برجستگي خاصي است. در خوشة ارتباط لمسي نيز الگوهايي خاص ارائه شده كه در هيچ فرهنگي يافت نشده است. تاكيد بر جذابيت در ظاهر (پوشش و مو و نظافت و ...) نيز از ديگر مولفه‌هاي نقطة آغاز ارتباط غيركلامي در فرهنگ اسلامي است كه در رتبة بعد قرار دارد.
