Seismic Risk Assessment Of Iranʹs Substations

Concerning the high seism city of Iranʹs area, transmission substations of power network arenʹt safe in any seismic exposure level. To determine the necessity of improvement of seismic safety of transmission range substations, economical investigations and determining of priorities in strategic development plans, are required. In this paper a perspective of economical and technological policies and also necessary information leading to formal decision concerning seismic safety of Iranʹs power network is presented.
