برگزاري آزمون صلاحيت باليني دانشجويان پرستاري به شيوه مجازي در طي پاندمي كوويد-19: مطالعه موردي

Conducting a Clinical Competency Test for Nursing Students in a Virtual Method During the Covid-19 Pandemic: A Case Study

مقدمه: ارزيابي صلاحيت باليني دانشجويان سال آخر پرستاري جهت فراغت از تحصيل و ورود به بازار كار در زمان پاندمي كوويد-19 يك چالش بزرگ و پر خطر است. هدف از اين مطالعه برگزاري آزمون صلاحيت باليني دانشجويان سال آخر پرستاري به شيوه مجازي در طي پاندمي كوويد-19 براي جلوگيري از شيوع بيماري است. روش كار: مطالعه حاضر يك مطالعه موردي است كه به گزارش آزمون صلاحيت باليني مجازي كه در تير ماه سال 1399 در دانشكده پرستاري و مامايي خرم آباد برگزار شد مي پردازد. تعداد 42 نفر دانشجو پرستاري به شيوه در دسترس و به صورت تمام شماري وارد مطالعه شدند. پس از برگزاري جلسات توجيهي و آموزشي، دانشجويان در آزمون صلاحيت باليني مجازي شركت نمودند. اين آزمون در 9 ايستگاه در حيطه هاي مختلف و به بوسيله نرم افزار اينترنتي برگزار شد. سوالات آزمون با تاكيد بر جنبه هاي باليني و عملي طرح شد. پس از ارزيابي پاسخنامه ها تجزيه و تحليل داده ها با كمك آمار توصيفي صورت گرفت. يافته ها : در اين آزمون 42 نفر دانشجو شركت نمودند. در ايستگاه مهارتهاي پايه و گزارش پرستاري تمامي شركت كنندگان آزمون را به اتمام رساندند. در ايستگاه هاي كودكان و احياي قلبي و ريوي در هر كدام 19% از شركت مردود شدند. به دانشجوياني كه در ايستگاه هاي مختلف مردود شده بودند فرصت مطالعه يا در كارگاه هاي آموزشي داده شد. سپس آزمون بعدي در هر ايستگاه به صورت غير متمركز برگزار شد. نتيجه گيري: اين گزارش نشان مي دهد كه در شرايطي كه امكان برگزاري آزمون حضوري صلاحيت باليني فراهم نيست، مي توان با استفاده از فضاي مجازي دانشجويان را از نظر صلاحيت ورود به بالين ارزيابي نمود. اين شيوه مي تواند به عنوان يك روش در حوزه آموزش پرستاري براي ارزيابي عملكرد باليني دانشجويان توسعه داده شود.

Introduction: Assessing the clinical competence of final year nursing students to graduate and enter the job market during the Covid-19 pandemic is a major and risky challenge. This study aimed to conduct a clinical competency test for final year nursing students during the Covid-19 pandemic to prevent the spread of the disease. Methods: The present study is a case study that reports a virtual clinical competency test that was held in July 2020 at the Khorramabad School of Nursing and Midwifery. A total of 42 final year nursing students were enrolled in the available method. After orientation and training sessions, students participated in the virtual clinical competency test. This test was held in 9 stations in different areas and by internet software. Test questions were designed with an emphasison clinical and practical aspects. After evaluating the answers, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: 42 students participated in this test. At the basic skills and nursing report station, all participants completed the test. At the pediatric and cardiopulmonary resuscitation stations, 19% of the participants were rejected. Students who were rejected at different stations were allowed to study or participate in workshops. Then the next test was held in each station in a decentralized manner. Conclusions: This report shows that in situations where it is not possible to hold a face-to-face test of clinical competency, students can be evaluated in terms of eligibility to enter the clinic using cyberspace. This method can be developed as a method in the field of nursing education to evaluate students› clinical performance.
