استانداردهاي فعلي و پيشنهادي براي پرورش تجاري ماهي دانيوي گورخري (Danio rerio) و ساير ماهيان زينتي براي توليد در آزمايشگاه ها و مزارع، متفاوت است و نيازمند بومي سازي آن با شرايط اختصاصي هر واحد توليدي دارد. اما چارچوب كلي پرورش ماهي گورخري به عنوان يك گونه زينتي محبوب و مدل آزمايشگاهي، سال هاست كه محققان علوم زيستي مورد نقد و بررسي قرار داده اند ​و مي تواند به عنوان يك استاندارد علمي و راهنماي عملي براي توليد موفقيت آميز و اقتصادي اين گونه مد نظر قرار گيرد. بنابراين، تدوين يك استاندارد واحد با توجه به ماهيت انعطاف پذير اين ماهي در شرايط محيطي مختلف و تنوع نيازهاي تحقيقاتي كه بر آن انجام مي شود، امري دشوار است و غير سودمند خواهد بود. از اين رو، در اين مقاله سعي شده تا مهم ترين الزامات دستيابي به توليد موفق و تجاري اين ماهي مورد توجه قرار گيرد.

Current and proposed standards for commercial breeding of Danio rerio and other ornamental fish for production in laboratories and farms are different and require indigenize with the specific conditions of each production unit. But the general framework of zebrafish farming as a popular ornamental species and laboratory model has been reviewed by bioscientists for many years and can be considered as a scientific standard and practical guide for successful and economical production of this species. Zebrafish can thrive in a variety of environmental conditions, which is a specific advantage for working with this organism. So, developing a single standard is difficult and probably not beneficial due to the flexible nature of this fish in different environmental conditions and the variety of research needs that are performed on it. Therefore, in this article, we have tried to pay attention to the most important requirements for achieving successful and commercial production of this fish.
