Explaining the Relationship Between Misdeed and Forgetting Allah

انسان، به مثابۀ موجود آگاه، به هيچ امري از امور به اندازۀ خود آگاهي ندارد. آگاهي از اشياء تابعي از آگاهي به خود است. در اين آگاهي به خود، انسان دائما خود را به ياد دارد و امكان فراموش كردن خود در چنين موجودي تصور نمي‌رود. در عين حال، آيه‌اي از كتاب خدا فراموشي انسان از خود را تعليم مي‌دهد. عامل اين فراموشي به فراموشي ديگري بازمي‌گردد؛ وقتي انسان خدا را فراموش كند خود را نيز به فراموشي مي‌سپارد. در تبيين اين تعليم، فيلسوفان از يك سو و مفسران از سوي ديگر، تحقيقاتي را به انجام رسانده‌اند. تبيين ملاصدرا و تبيين علامه طباطبائي، به عنوان بهره‌مندان از دانش فلسفه و تفسير، در اين گفتار آورده مي‌شود. در جنب اين تلاش‌ها، كوشش شده است تا ميان فراموش كردن خود، به مثابۀ يك عمل اختياري و بدكرداري، رابطه‌اي به ميان آورده شود كه سابقۀ آن، خدا را فراموش كردن است؛ آن خدايي كه مبدأ و غايت هر كردار پاك و نيك به او مرتبط است.

As a conscious being, human is not more aware of any other affair than of themself. Awareness of objects for a human is subordinate to awareness of themself. In this self-awareness, human is constantly thinking about themself and the possibility of forgetting themself is unimaginable. However, one of the verses of the Quran points out self-oblivion of human beings.The cause of this self-oblivion is forgetting something else; when a human forgets Allah, they fall into self-oblivion. In expounding on this teaching, philosophers on one hand, and interpreters on the other have conducted some studies. This paper draws on the explanations provided by MullaSadra and AllamehTabataba’iwho are endowed with the knowledge of philosophy and interpretation. Besides, there has been an attempt to establish a relationship between self-oblivion as free will, and misdeed; a relationship which results from consigning Allah, who is associated with the source and extremity every good and pure deed, to oblivion.
