ديدگاه «توين بي» درباره شاخصه‌هاي منجي در تمدن اسلامي

Twain B.'s view on the characteristics of a savior in Islamic civilization

«توين بي Arnold Toynbee» مورخ مشهور انگليسي(1889-1973م) سال‌هاي فراواني از عمر خود را صرف بررسي تاريخ و تمدن‌هاي گوناگون بشري كرده است. وي تمدن اسلامي را رقيب اساسي تمدن غربي دانسته و در بررسي‌هاي خود به نقاط ضعف و قوت اين دو رقيب ديرينه اشاره كرده است. وي از شخصيت‌هاي معتقد به منجي در آخرالزمان است و اعتقادات منجي‌گرايانه او از دين مسيحيت ناشي شده است. نگاه وي به منجي، با عينك پيشرفت و تكنولوژي تمدن غرب صورت پذيرفته و وي مهدي سوداني را مظهر منجي شمشير به دست انگاشته است. وي با بررسي شخصيت مهدي سوداني و عملكردش بر اين باور است كه منجي در تمدن اسلامي شاخصه‌هايي دارد كه با منجي تمدن غربي در بسياري از زمينه‌ها متفاوت است. با اين حال نگاه «توين بي» به تمدن اسلامي بسيار اميدوارانه است و لذا مي‌توان از نگاه تمدني وي در تقريب بين اديان و تقويت اعتقاد به منجي بهره گرفت. در اين نوشتار برآنيم تا ديدگاه توين بي درباره شاخصه‌هاي منجي در تمدن اسلامي را توضيح داده و به نقد و بررسي آن اقدام نمائيم. شمشير به دست بودن، استفاده از ابزارهاي قديمي، قدرت روحاني و نيروي تواناي معنوي و خلأ نظريه‌پردازي در عصر جديد از جمله شاخصه‌هايي است كه توين بي براي منجي در تمدن اسلامي برشمرده است. تحليل و مطالعه آثار «توين بي» نگاه خاص و ويژه او را نسبت به منجي شمشير به دست آشكار ساخته و راز نگاه‌هاي متفاوت وي به اسلام را بر ملا خواهد ساخت. «توين بي» تنها از زاويه «مهدي سوداني» به منجي شمشير به دست نگريسته است. در حالي كه اين امر زواياي ديگري نيز دارد كه ما به برخي از آنها در اين پژوهش اشاره مي‌نمائيم. به هر حال ديدگاه‌هاي توين بي در مورد منجي و آينده جهان، نقاط مشتركي با آموزه مهدويت و آرمان‌هاي آن دارد، و به همين دليل، مي‌تواند زمينه شكوفايي پژوهش در آموزه‌هاي مهدوي مرتبط را فراهم نمايد.

The famous English historian "Arnold Toynbee" (1889-1973 AD) has spent many years of his life studying the history and various human civilizations. He mentions these two long-time rivals. His view of the savior has been done with the glasses of progress and technology of Western civilization and he has considered Mehdi Sudani as the embodiment of the savior of the sword. Examining the personality of Mehdi Sudani and his performance, he believes that the savior in Islamic civilization has characteristics that are different from the savior of Western civilization in many ways. However, Twain B.'s view of Islamic civilization is very hopeful, and therefore his civilized view can be used to reconcile religions and strengthen the belief in a savior. In this article, we will try to explain Twain Bey's view on the characteristics of a savior in Islamic civilization and critique it. Getting a sword, using old tools, spiritual power and spiritual strength, and theorizing in the new age are some of the characteristics that Twain Bey has listed as a savior in Islamic civilization. Analysis and study of Twain Bey's works will reveal his special view of the savior of the sword and will reveal the secret of his different views on Islam."Twin Bey" has only looked at the savior of the sword from the perspective of "Mahdi Sudani". While this has other angles, some of which we mention in this study. However, Twain Bey's views on the savior and the future of the world have much in common with the doctrine of Mahdaviat and its ideals, and for this reason, can provide the ground for the flourishing of research in related Mahdist teachings.
