چكيده فارسي :
دانشمندان گياه‌شناس با معرفي گياهان و تهيه فلور هر منطقه نقش بسيار مهمي در شناسايي اكوسيستم‌هاي طبيعي و تنوع زيستي كشور داشته‌اند. در اين ميان آقاي دكتر علي‌اصغر معصومي با مطالعه عميقي كه بر روي جنس گون (Astragalus) در 4 دهه از عمر گران‌بهاي خود داشته نقش و جايگاه ويژه‌اي را به خود اختصاص داده است. استاد گرانقدر جناب آقاي دكتر علي‌اصغر معصومي، استاد پژوهش (بازنشسته) بخش تحقيقات گياهشناسي موسسه تحقيقات جنگلها و مراتع كشور مي‌باشند كه علاوه بر شناسايي گونه‌هاي متعدد جنس گون مجري طرح‌هاي تحقيقاتي متعدد بوده و سال‌ها رياست بخش تحقيقات گياهشناسي و مدير باغ گياهشناسي ملي ايران را بر عهده داشته است. حاصل تلاش علمي ايشان پنج جلد كتاب گون‌هاي ايران، سه جلد فلور گون‌هاي ايران و مقالات متعدد علمي در مجلات خارجي و داخلي مي‌باشد. در اين مقاله سعي شده بخشي از فعاليت‌هاي حرفه‌اي و علمي ايشان در پنج دهه گذشته‌ي بيان شود تا چراغ راهي براي جوانان و جويندگان علم و دانش در كشور باشد.

Botanists have played a very important role in identifying the country's natural ecosystems and biodiversity by introducing plants and preparing the flora of each region. Dr. Ali Asghar Massoumi, with her in-depth study of Astragalus in 4 decades of her precious life, has a special role and position. Dear Professor, Dr. Ali Asghar Masoumi (Retired) Professor of Botany Research, Department of Forests and Rangelands Research Institute, in addition to identifying many species, has conducted numerous research projects and for many years has been the director of Botany Research and management of National Botanical Garden of Iran.The result of her scientific efforts is five volumes of Iranian species books, three volumes of Iranian species flora and numerous scientific articles in foreign and domestic journals. This article tries to express some of their professional and scientific activities in the last five decades to be a beacon for young people and seekers of science and knowledge in the country.
