پلي­ اوره با توجه به ساختار و خواص منحصر به فرد و شيوه به نسبت آسان اعمال آن، حتي در مكان­ هاي با دسترسي سخت، توجه مهندسان و فعالان ساختمان را به ­عنوان مصالح ساختماني مدرن جلب كرده است. محدوده گسترده­ خواص عالي اين پليمر از قبيل دوام و مقاومت زياد در برابر عوامل جوي، شيميايي و زيستي آن را به گزينه عالي براي صنعت ساختمان تبديل كرده است. قابليت تقويت مصالح و سازه­ هاي ساختماني همراه با مقاومت عالي در برابر خوردگي و سايش، به ­طور چشمگيري محبوبيت پلي ­اوره را به عنوان يك پوشش محافظ در صنعت ساختمان افزايش داده است. در اين صنايع درزگيري و عايق ­بندي كف­ ها و سطوح مختلف با استفاده از پوشش پلي­ اوره نيز مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. فناوري پوشش ­هاي پلي­ اوره، فناوري سبز و بدون آلودگي و سميت براي محيط زيست است كه مزيت اساسي نسبت به بسياري از فناوري­ هاي رقيب در صنعت ساختمان به ­شمار مي­ رود. استفاده از سامانه­ هاي كامپوزيتي پلي ­اوره به ­منظور بهينه­ سازي خواص مختلف مانند خواص مكانيكي و گرمايي و همچنين كاهش هزينه­ ها و بار اقتصادي در حال افزايش است. در مقاله حاضر، كاربردهاي چندگانه مواد برپايه پلي­ اوره در صنغت ساختمان شرح داده مي­ شود.

Polyurea has drawn the attention of construction activists and engineers as a modern building material due to its unique structure, unique properties, and relatively easy application even in hard-to-reach places. A wide range of excellent properties such as durability and high resistance against the atmospheric, chemical, and biological factors have made this polymer a superb option for the construction industry. The ability to reinforce the building materials and structures coupled with excellent resistance against corrosion and abrasion has dramatically increased the popularity of polyurea as a protective coating in the construction industry. In these industries, sealing and insulating the different floors and surfaces have also been considered using the polyurea coating. Polyurea coating technology is a green technology without pollution and toxicity to the environment, which is an essential advantage over many competing technologies in the construction industry. The use of polyurea composite systems to optimize various properties such as mechanical and thermal properties in addition to reducing the costs and economic burden is increasing. In the present paper, multiple applications of polyurea-based materials in the construction industry are discussed.
