THE END OF HISTORY IN THE ERA OF THE GLOBALIZATION OF DEMOCRACY

The end of history is one of the provocative theories which was presented by Francis Fukuyama in 1989. According to this theory the predominance of the liberal democracy over the other ideologies is inevitable. The theory has been announced in the midst of the belief in the globalization of the democracy. By presenting both perspectives the author attempts to show, through a critical evaluation, that there are some similarities between liberal democracy and the End of History.
