برآورد تابع تقاضاي سفر جاده اي در مسير هاي موردي

Since the scientific studies have not been as fast as the growth of transport sector in Iranʹs economy, implementing applied research with the aim of achieving an efficient transport industry could improve the decisions made by planners and operators in this industry through providing valuable guidelines. This article aims to estimate the demand function of road travels from the capitals of Iranʹs provinces to Tehran and also study the impact of socio-economic parameters and the changes in the fares of carrying the passengers in road and air routes on this function. This model is estimated for two separate modes (multimodal and mode-oriented transport) by selecting the method of microeconomic analysis and the extendedBaumol-Quandt model for road travel demand and through using seasonal data. in both modes the descriptive parameters describe the changes in road travel demand with a high percentage. The results of this estimation suggest that the dasticitief of descriptive parameters differ in various routes. So definite proposals such as establishing discriminative prices in different routes are rendered.
