چكيده لاتين :
Natural convection heat transfer in a square enclosure with a rectangular heat source and a constant temperature window on a vertical wall was studied numerically. A finite volume method was used for discritization of conservation equations along with power law method. Velocity and pressure filed were obtained through application of SIMPER algorithm. Results are presented in the form of nusselt number variation versus Rayleigh number and dimension and location of heat source and window. It is observed that increasing the length or the height of heat source increases heat loss from the
window. Maximum heat loss is shown to occur if the window is located in the middle of the vertical wall. Increasing rayleigh number increases heat loss from the window.
