گزارش گونه DITHINOZERCON HALBERTI )BERLESE( )UROPODINA: DITHINOZERCONIDAE( براي فون كنه هاي ايران

In a faunistic study which was carried out to collect and identify Uropodina mites of Tehran region during 2000-2002. the species Dithino=ercon halherti (BERLESE) (Uroseios infirmus BERLESE) from family Dithinozerconidac (Atari: Mesostigmata) was collected and identified. Its scientific name was confirmed by Dr. Gwiazdowicz from Poland. This mite was collected from soils of walnut and apple orchards of Tehran (Tarasht and Shemiranat). It is considered to be a new record for mite fauna of Iran. Both male and female mites and its different developmental stages were collected during the sampling in autumn 2001. This species feeds on soil nematods in organic materials, its population builds up in soils with high organic matters.The most important characteristics of the species are as follows: Length of idiosomna in female 650 and in male 560 micrometers, chelicerac without nodus, dorsal opisthosoma in females with three and in male with one small shield. Setae on lateral margins of dorsal shield were set on small platelets, base of tritosternum in broad with two branches, stigma is between coxae III and IV, peritreme is looped near coxa IV and leads to the sides of the body near coxa II.
