The World of Crises and Crisis Management (Part ii).

Although Science and technology has developed, the human species is confronted with increasingly diverse and numerous natural and man-made disasters. These disasters have challenged authorities, policy-makers and all involved. Crises with their special features need special management. This article is the first introductory chapter of the book "Coping with Crisis: the Management of Disasters, Riots and terrorism", Terrorism. In the first part, we were acquainted with these subjects: crisis, its features, sources of crisis research, crisis typology. In the second part different aspects of crisis management is discussed: Crisis emergence (pre-crisis stages), coping with crisis (crisis stages) including: Organization of Crisis Decision Making, information and communiction, the psychology of crisis decision making; Crisis management (the after math of crisis) including accountability and responsibility , and evaluation. This paper gives a scientific and logical thought towards crises especially for managers and authorities involved in crises such as those in the ministries of interior,health and other sectors.
