To study about philosophical studies is not an easy task an individual can do; rather it is
a difficult task only a research group can follow. However to analyze the matter is
necessary. Having an analytical approach, the present article studies the matter from
five different angles explaining weaknesses of philosophical studies in Iranian
uni versities in brief. In the end. the author presents certain solutions that can help
remove the deficiencies existing in philosophical studies in Iranian universities.
