SURVEY OF THE SARDASHT CITY MARRIED PEOPLE ATTITUDE TOWARD FAMILLY PLANNING PROGRAMS

In the years after the Iranian Islamic Revolution, the official policy of the government to reduce birth rate is adopted through family planning program and is implemented by Ministries of Health, Higher education and Education. The main purpose of this study is to investigate factor affecting the attitude of the married people of Sardasht city towards family planning. Favorable and unfavorable opinions of married people on population increase, optimum population increase and optimum population is considered in the study. The sample under study was consisted of 376 married persons of the city of Sardasht whose attitude towards family planning were examined. The data attained were analyzed by SPPS method.
