Jurisprudence Study of Man and Womanʹs Equality in the Marriage

Equal literally means parallel and equality means married couple similarity. Malek says, ʹequality relates to the religionʹ. Ahmad says, ʹit relates to the religion and liberty of job, industry and propertyʹ. Hanafi jurists say, ʹit only relates to the religionʹ. From Shafeiʹs viewpoint, it relates to the religion, lineage, freedom, industry and etc. Equality in lineage is one of the viewpoints of Sunni jurists that the author criticizes it. Because everyone would be preferable that his faith is superior. In the present article, the author also mentions that equality in lineage is not acceptable in Islam.
