THE NEW COLD WAR FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

Increase of influence and dominance over independent republics of Central Assia and Caucasus in order to utilize the natnral overflowing sources of this region is in immense strategy of America in future. Therefore, by expanding NATO into this region America is trying to decrease the influence of Russia in these republics and in the meantime fulfilling the above purpose and also to prevent the Russian-led regional union or association. On the other hand, this strategy of America is threatening the political and economic interests of Russia in the region. Thus, the Russia is attempting to prevent the expansion of NATO into the region by creating Buffer Zone. Consequently, according to the reasons mentioned above the interests of America and Russia in Central Asia and Caucasus are against each other. The Georgiaʹs aggressions to Ossctia and Abkhazia with green light of America displeasure and sever reflection of Russia to Georgia and base installation of military in this region and recognition of its independence proves the Russian endeavour to create Buffer Zone in order to prevent the expansion of NATO. This condition got some of critics to analyze and pay attention to new cold war discussion with regard to its use by Russia president Medvedev. But this article is planning to examine the hypothesis with regard to internal circumstances and new claims inside of America and Russia and international circumstances which are not comparable with period of Soviet Union no new cold war is anticipated and there would be no damage in two countries relations because it wont turn out to be advantageous for them in present term.
