Study of Relationship between Locus of Control and Social Tendency

The purpose of this article was to study the relationship between the locus of control and social interest. In order do this c 200 ( 56 m male and 144 female) students were randomly selected from universities in city of Isfahan. Crandallʹssocial interest and Levensonʹs locus of control scales were administered to them. Data analysis was made using SPSS, correlation and hierarchical regression. The results showed that age . genderm. and other powerful locus of control are significantly predicted social interest.
