Study of Effect of Shearing Condition in Mechanical Properties of Machining Parts Surfaces by Finite Element Method.

In this research by using finite element method effect of machining parameters on surface characteristics, such as stress and strain residual, hardness, effective tension and strain have been investigate by clamping constant force for tool piece, constant piece, and moving tools, the 2D simulation applied for modeling of tools, three condition, have been investigated :a) Ideal sharp tools b) Compact stable nose tools with specific geometry C) Tools with wear area in its free surface. For calculations, Von-misses criteria and plain stress conditions nave been applied. By this modeling method, this research, have investigated the effects of machining parameters, wearing on free surface of tool, sliding friction wearing area, and surface deformation of pieces.
